Edna Krabappel, a cartoon character from The Simpsons series. Voiced by Marcia Wallace until her death in 2013. She is Bart Simpson’s 4th grade teacher at Springfield School and also Ned Flanders’ wife in subsequent seasons. Krabappel was the only character Wallace voiced regularly. After Wallace’s death, the show’s producers announced their intention to retire the character. The episodes with Edna have since been small cameos with no dialogue, right up to the epilogue (which includes Wallace’s voice) of the 25th season episode “The Man Who Grew Too Much”.
