Caustics are really great light effects that can be observed in liquids, glass objects and gems. We can simulate this effect with Autodesk 3D Studio Max perfectly. In the tutorial we’re going to visit on the ‘caustics’ we’ll see how to activate this realistic effect with the “Mental Ray” rendering engine.
